Per our documentation:
Amazon AppStream 2.0 allows you to quickly and easily import, install, test, and update your applications using the Image Builder. Any application that installs and executes on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 OS is supported, and you don’t need to make any modifications. When your testing is complete, you can set application launch configurations, and publish your image for users to access.
AFAIK, some of the early version of AX may not be supported by Windows Server 2012 R2, might be worth to double check the details with your customer.
