Advertise address range to the Internet after provisioning

0

Hello! We use BYOIP (bring your own ip) ipv6 CIDR block in our VPCs and are going to use the IP address range to reach Internet by advertising the cidr to the Internet. But we cannot do this because the related CIDR block was provisioned with "--no-publicly-advertisable" flag some time ago. According to the AWS documentation: ""You can only specify whether an address range is publicly advertisable during provisioning. You cannot change the advertisable status later on.""

So we think that the only way to advertise the CIDR-block is to deprovision the network and to provision it again without "--no-publicly-advertisable" flag. But this is an extremely undesirable scenario for us because we already have multiple workloads with IP-addresses from the cidr block and cannot release the IP addresses to reprovision the network.

Our question: Is there any technical way to reprovision the CIDR block and advertise it to the Internet without downtime?
