Support case ************** — CloudShell/account verification stuck

-1

I opened support case ************** under Account and Billing regarding the error "Your account verification is in progress" when trying to use CloudShell. My payment method has already been verified and charged. It has been about 2 weeks since account creation. This is blocking me from completing hands-on labs for an AWS certification I'm actively studying for. I've already followed the standard troubleshooting (different region, different browser, incognito) with no change. Could someone from AWS please take a look at this case and help push it through, or let me know what additional information is needed to resolve it? Case ID: ***************

I understand you're experiencing issues with CloudShell access due to an account verification message, and I can see this is impacting your certification studies. However, I'm not able to access or review specific support cases directly.

For the fastest resolution to your existing case, I recommend adding this additional context directly through the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. You can reply to your open case with the details you've shared here - specifically that your payment method has been verified and charged, it's been approximately 2 weeks since account creation, and you've already tried the standard troubleshooting steps across different regions and browsers.

Account verification issues can sometimes take additional time to resolve, particularly when they involve billing or account standing verification. If you haven't received a response within the expected timeframe for your support plan, adding a follow-up to your case will help ensure it receives attention.

The support team handling your case will have access to your account details and can investigate the specific verification status that's blocking CloudShell access.

Hi there,

I can understand the urgency of having this resolved so that you can complete your hands-on labs.

I've taken steps internally to relay your concerns.

Your case is where you'll receive updates, continue to monitor it for updates.
