Lightsail Wordress Bitnami - How Can I Downgrade from PHP 8.2.12 to PHP 8.0?

Unfortunately that is not possible. The issue with downgrading or upgrading PHP on a Bitnami stack is that it’s not possible. Bitnami recommends launching a new server instance with the required PHP, MySQL, or Apache version and migrating the data over.

Bitnami doesn't provide a simple code or switch for downgrading PHP on Lightsail instances.

Recommended Options For Upgrade and Downgrade:

1. Create a New Instance Lighsail: The safest and most reliable method is to:

• Launch a new Lightsail instance with the desired PHP 8.0 version.
• Install Bitnami WordPress on this new instance.
• Migrate your existing WordPress site to this new environment.

These are steps mentioned by official Bitnami (related to upgrade) However you can follow instructions to proceed with Downgrade.
