Billing Instances Separately

Hello,

I have an AWS account and I need to create another instance in the same account. I am looking everywhere to see if I can hence get separate invoices for each instance. The only answers available seem to be: have different AWS accounts. Am I missing something?

Hi, @Karvesh

You can't.
(However, it may be supported depending on the billing agency vendor.)

As an alternative, you can use the cost allocation tag to keep track of the usage charges for each instance.

If you want to separate it as an invoice, you need to separate the account.
