Removing unknown account on which I have no control from my organization

0

Hey all, the following happened:

Situation:

  1. I invited an account to my organization
  2. I did a mistake by putting the wrong e-mail address
  3. The random person owning the account with this email accepted the invitation, and is now part of my organizaiton

Complication: 4. This is very dangerous for me given his activity is now billed on my organization so I want to remove him 5. AWS doesn't let you remove account from your organization that don't have their own billing info, which is the case of this person 6. Contacting this person didn't work

Solution I need:

  • How to remove an account that has no billing information and that you do not control from your organization??? It seems crazy that AWS does not allow me to do this given the risk I am at in this context.

What about canceling the account itself?
If you are managing the parent account for Organizations, you may cancel it.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/organizations/latest/userguide/orgs_manage_accounts_close.html

Alternatively, you can contact AWS support with a case study on "Account and billing" and they may be able to provide you with an answer.
