Access Deinied while saving changes in Glue job

0

Hi, I’ve been having strange issue when trying to update my AWS Glue Jobs or creating new jobs. For some reason I’m no longer allowed to save changes to the notebooks, even though I’m using the same IAM role, which I’ve used to initially create them( and saved them several times in process).

From what I've figured out, whis happens because the organisational requirement that data should be encrypted, while saving to S3 bucket. Because Glue saves scripts and notebboks in S3 I'm getting this error. So I've added encryption as part of security settings in Glue, but it didn't bring any results.

What might be the next step to try in order to solve this issuue?

I don't think you can force Glue Studio to do custom encryption of the script but what you can do is just on the S3 bucket you are using, enable SSE by default (not sure if that will satisfy this policy you have in your organization but if it doesn't it might need to be revised).
