Why Windows based EC2 instance goes into 1/2 status check mode

I have a runnung windows based web server and it goes into 1/2 status check mode & show Instance reachability check failed. Why these happen when server is up running Can any provide support for it

In my experience, there have been cases where the EBS volume capacity has been exhausted and the volume has been failed.

    To add to this memory exhaustion is another reason this happens.
