Eloborate on the steps required for embedding quicksight console in web application.

Hello All,

I am working to embed quicksight console in to my web application and I am following the steps mentioned in the following links given then documentation.

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/quicksight/latest/user/embedded-analytics-full-console-for-authenticated-users.html

I am able to understand the Step 1: Set up permissions. I am facing a problem in Step 2: Generate the URL with the authentication code attached.

Here what should be done to generate the URL. Is it that we need make the lamda function or should we initiate it from our code in the server and generate the url?

If I am using lamda function then where will the url generated be displayed.

Kindly eloborate on the same.

Regards

Hi,

I believe that you want to read this blog post: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/big-data/embed-interactive-dashboards-in-your-application-with-amazon-quicksight/

It fully details the steps (with code) to embed a QuickSight dashboard in your web app.

Best,

Didier

HI,

I am looking fo embedding a complete session and not a dashboard. The link mentioned displays the method for dashboard embedding.

I am trying the step mentioned in the following link. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/quicksight/latest/user/embedded-analytics-full-console-for-authenticated-users.html
