AWS RDS RI - reduce commitment from 3 to 2 instances

Hi Eran,

Unfortunately, an RI is a discount offered by AWS in exchange for your commitment to the platform for a specific time. As a result, you cannot have them cancelled early.

If you have purchased this recently, in the last few days, then you can reach out to AWS Support and create a Account and Billing case explaining that you have accidentally purchased an RI, and would like it cancelled, however, bear in mind that any cancellation will need a review, and is subject to approval.
