S3 Storage Archiving Policy for SAP HANA Backups

Dear AWS Support, Can you please let us know what is the official statement for SAP systems on HANA Database running in AWS, regarding the S3 storage in AWS environment, in regards to the archiving policy for S3 that store HANA backups. We are looking to understand if we could lower the costs by defining policies that will archive older than x days of backups to any lower cost tier of S3 buckets like S3 Glacier or even S3 Glacier Instant Retrieval or S3 Intelligence-Tier / Infrequent access. Are these archiving policies supported for long term storage of HANA backups. Is the backint agent able to retrieve the data from these storage classes directly or indirectly ?
