Very long upload times

Hello, I just created my first bucket and I am attempting to upload 220 GB.

I have been uploading for about 20 minutes so far, and my transfer rate has remained 1.2MB/s with an estimated time remaining of 2 days.

I'm brand new to AWS. Is there a solution to expedite this upload time?

There are two main options you can do to increase your upload times.

  • Enable multi-part uploads
  • Enable S3 transfer acceleration
