As of now, HTTP APIs from Amazon API Gateway are not available in the eu-south-2 (Spain) region. While HTTP APIs are generally available in many AWS regions, they have not yet been rolled out to all regions globally.
HTTP APIs were initially launched in 8 AWS regions, including major regions like US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo). However, the eu-south-2 region, being a newer region, may not have all services and features available immediately.
AWS typically expands service availability to more regions over time, but there's no specific information available about plans or timelines for adding HTTP APIs to the eu-south-2 region. If this feature is critical for your workload in the Spain region, you may need to consider using the standard REST APIs from API Gateway, which are more widely available across AWS regions.
It's worth noting that AWS continuously works on expanding their services across regions. However, for the most up-to-date information on service availability in specific regions, it's best to check the AWS Regional Services List or contact AWS Support directly for any concrete plans or timelines.

HTTP APIs in ue-south-2 Currently, there isn't access to the HTTP APIs in that region expanding continuously, expanding its availability to all regions,I would suggest using a REST HTTP API standard.
