Exceed AWS SES reputation metrics will suspend a single dedicated IP or the whole account?

I've read I can use dedicated IPs to isolate reputation for different segments of our email program, but I can't get if this allow me to prevent suspension of the whole account or not.

For example, I will create a dedicated IP pool for marketing (promotional) mails and create another one for transactional mails.

I want to decouple each type of mailing so that their bounce rates or reputation metrics won't affect each other. For example, we don't want to risk our transactional mails because of a marketing mail complaint.

Anyone knows if I enable isolate reputation on configuration sets I will (in case of limit exceed) prevent suspension of the whole account or not?

the whole account. You should activate the suppression list for Bounce and complaints and review the logs to see any solution for managing bounces and Spam
