AWS Activate Credit application rejected after correcting previously identified email issue — need guidance

-1

Hello AWS team,

I’m looking for guidance regarding my AWS Activate Credit application for my startup, TourIVers.

My application was previously reviewed by AWS Activate Support, and I was informed that the application was not approved because the email used on my AWS account did not meet the requirement regarding the business domain/email used in the Activate application.

Based on that guidance, I made the following changes:

  1. Updated my AWS account contact email to my TourIVers business-domain email.
  2. Updated/aligned my AWS Builder ID email with the same business email.
  3. Ensured the AWS account email, Builder ID email, Activate application email, and TourIVers business information are consistent.
  4. Confirmed that tourivers.com is our active business domain and website.
  5. TourIVers is also an approved NVIDIA Inception startup, and I have the NVIDIA Inception Organization ID available.

After making these corrections, I submitted/continued with the AWS Activate application, but I have now received another rejection stating that AWS cannot provide the specific rejection criteria.

I completely understand that AWS may not disclose internal eligibility or rejection criteria.

However, since I specifically corrected the issue that AWS Support previously identified, I would like to know:

Have I now satisfied the previously identified email/account requirement, and am I allowed to reapply for AWS Activate Credits?

I can provide my NVIDIA Inception Organization ID and previous AWS Support case information privately if needed.

I would really appreciate guidance from the AWS Activate team on the correct next step rather than submitting another application without knowing whether I am eligible to reapply.

Thank you.

I understand your frustration with the AWS Activate Credit application process after addressing the email domain issue that was previously identified. While I don't have specific information about AWS Activate eligibility criteria or the application review process in my available resources, I can offer some general guidance.

Regarding email requirements for AWS services, it's important to use a business-domain email address rather than one from public email providers like Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook. Based on what you've described, you've taken the right steps by aligning your AWS account email, Builder ID, and application information with your TourIVers business domain email (tourivers.com). This alignment is generally a best practice for business accounts.

For specific guidance on your AWS Activate application status and whether you're eligible to reapply, I recommend reaching out directly through the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. When you add correspondence there, you can reference your previous interactions and ask specifically about:

  1. Confirmation that the email domain requirement has been satisfied
  2. Whether you're eligible to submit a new application
  3. Any additional steps needed to meet eligibility requirements

The AWS Activate team will be best positioned to review your specific situation, including your NVIDIA Inception partnership status, and provide guidance on the appropriate next steps. They can access your application history and provide more detailed feedback than what may be available through general channels.

If response time is a concern, you may also want to review your AWS Support plan options, as different support tiers offer varying response times for inquiries.
