Hi I have the same difficulty. It seems Microsoft Outlook for Mac does not support Microsoft Exchange?
I used this article as guide (Setting up EU West): Setting up Microsoft Outlook for Android and iOS https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workmail/latest/userguide/mobile-client.html#setting_up_microsoft_outlook
Email – Email aliase: email@organisation.awsapps.com
Password –Enter your Amazon WorkMail account password.
Server – https://mobile.mail.eu-west-1.awsapps.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync
Domain – Enter your Amazon WorkMail address' domain.
Username – Enter your Amazon WorkMail address
Hi,
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with the outlook set-up. WorkMail does not support EAS connections from Outlook and therefor manual set-up will not work. To troubleshoot your auto discover configuration you can add a mail alias with the awsapps.com to your user and try to configure Outlook with that email address. If successful Outlook will use the primary email address to configure the profile.
Kind regards, Robin
Thanks Robin, that does work and makes sense; awsapps.com is not authoritative for our domain. Honestly that's common enough that it should be in the documentation.

Hi,
Yes, sadly the free version of Mac Outlook does not support Exchange. For this you will need the licensed version. You can configure this version with IMAP. (Details for configuring can be found here
Hi. Yes, I have the premium version and eventually used IMAP. Thank you.
Can you please help with the settings to setup IMAP in Microsoft Outlook App on iOS? I've been trying to use the Help articles to no avail. Article 1: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workmail/latest/userguide/mobile-client.html#connect_ios_device
