Why my user (Developer) is getting the above error message? Which basic permission is required to provide.

Hi Monica,

it seems the user is looking at the AWS IAM dashboard in the AWS console. The dashboard highlights IAM related security findings and recommendations. However, the user needs certain IAM permissions to see those, like iam:ListMFADevices which lists all multi-factor authentication devices.

And as you mentioned, the user has only basic permissions and is therefore not able to see the recommendations, instead they see the error message informing them of missing permissions.

Going forward, you could grant the user the necessary permissions if you deem this necessary. Alternatively, they could choose to ignore it.
