Serverless for Singapore region - AWS Bedrock

0

Hi,

I have a customer in Singapore who wants to use LLMs, but their data must not leave Singapore.

On AWS Bedrock (serverless), as I understand it, if I use a model that supports cross-region inference, the data may be processed in another region (and potentially another country).

If not a cross-region inference, will all request and response data remain within the Singapore region, and does this meet my customer’s data residency requirements? Can I use Claude 3.5 or Claude 3 Haiku while keeping all data within the Singapore region?

Enter image description here

Thanks.

Yes, Claude 3.5 Sonnet and Claude 3 Haiku in ap-southeast-1 (Singapore) Region do not use cross-region inference, and do processing within Region only.
