SQL server instance deleted from EC2

I have installed SQL Server on EC2 instance. After a few weeks it disappeared from EC2 instance as if it was never installed. All SQL files and apps have been deleted. Anyone ran into this issue before?

I would start by taking a look through your CloudTrail logs and see if anything was done to this EC2 instance. Is it possible someone terminated and re-launched with a new AMI or restored a snapshot?
