Access denied error while creating Data Filter in Lake Formation
Hi,
I am signed in with a userId which has IAM Administrator access and DataLake Administrator access. The userId also has permissions to table columns set up in Lake Formation. However when creating a Data Filter on a table using console, I get following error message.
Error creating data cell filter: data-filter-1. Not authorized to create filter.
Any suggestions to resolve the issue will be greatly appreciated.

The governed tables, transaction support, row-level security, and storage optimizations features for Lake Formation are available in the following AWS Regions.
US East (N. Virginia) (us-east-1)
US East (Ohio) (us-east-2)
US West (Oregon) (us-west-2)
Europe (Ireland) (eu-west-1)
Asia Pacific (Tokyo) (ap-northeast-1)
Data filters are not available in Singapore region yet and that's the reason you're seeing the error.

Error is encountered in Singapore region, tested in N.Virginia and works ok in that region.
