Action Required: Amazon Bedrock Service Suspended Following Quota Adjustment - - Request for Internal Review Escalation (Case ************)

0

Hello AWS Community and Support Team, Our early-stage startup is currently completely blocked due to an Amazon Bedrock service suspension, and our core development pipeline has ground to a halt.

A few days ago, an accidental quota increase request (requesting 5,000,000 to 6,000,000 TPM) was submitted on our account for Anthropic Claude models on Amazon Bedrock. Following an automated denial due to early account history, we reopened the case to clarify that the figure was an internal configuration error. We clarified that our application architecture only requires standard baseline developer allocations (50,000 – 100,000 TPM) to conduct automated code documentation parsing and validation testing. Shortly thereafter, Bedrock service access was suspended on our account, while all other AWS services remain unaffected and the account remains in good standing.

We immediately submitted comprehensive business verification documentation directly to our existing support case, including our Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Certificate of Incorporation, primary account holder government ID, and billing verification details. We have not received an update or response to the support case for several days. Because we are on the Basic Support plan, we do not have access to live chat or phone support to request an operational status check. Could an AWS moderator please locate our case internally and share it with the Bedrock / Trust & Safety review team for escalation? Case ID: ************ Impacted Service: Amazon Bedrock (us-east-1) Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,

Sorry to hear your Bedrock services are suspended. I located your case on my end and shared your feedback internally with Support for review. Cases are handled in the order they're received, so response times can vary.

I recommend you continue monitoring your inbox for a response from our team with the next steps to take.

I understand your Amazon Bedrock service has been suspended following a quota adjustment request, and this is significantly impacting your development work. Here's guidance on how to proceed:

For service suspensions or access restrictions, the AWS Support team handling your case is the appropriate channel for resolution. Since you've already submitted your case with documentation, the team is reviewing your situation. Response times vary based on your support plan level - with Basic Support, you'll receive a response, though it may take longer than higher-tier plans.

To add additional information or check status on your existing case, visit the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. You can add correspondence there with any additional context that might help expedite the review.

If faster response times are critical for your business operations, you might consider reviewing your AWS Support plan options. Business and Enterprise Support plans offer shorter response times and additional support channels that could be valuable for time-sensitive situations like service access issues.

While waiting for resolution, ensure all relevant business verification documentation has been submitted through your support case. The team reviewing your case will have access to all the information you've provided and will respond through that channel.

The support team working your case is best positioned to coordinate with the appropriate internal teams for review. Continue monitoring your case in the Support Center for updates.
