AWS Console Sign In not working

0

I'm trying to sign in to my personal account using the Root login for the AWS Console and although it accepts my email address and password, the process is attempting to e-mail me a Verification Code which never arrives. I have been trying for about 3 hours now, and have clicked "resend" numerous times.

I have checked my spam and junk email folders there is nothing.

I have also successfully sent several test e-mails from different mail clients to the same email address that AWS is using.

Hi Jonathan,

Since you are trying to access using a username and password, it seems that you are trying to use an IAM user.
So, please try to sign in using your root user with the email address and password that you used to create the account. [1]
It should give you access to your account and then you can check the IAM user's email address and username to confirm if they are correct.

A recommendation would be to use Incognito mode or clear the cache of your browser to sign in.

Please let me know if you have any issues.
