using RDP to copy exe file to EC2 instance, not working

I've always been able to copy an exe file to my EC2 instance. For some reason, it's taking forever (20MB) and never completes. I tried other files and they are fine.

Has something changed with security?

    It had nothing to do with AWS. Windows upload was stuck .. I reset Windows and everything was fine.
