Can I use Route 53 with an .ai domain name?

Question

I have an .ai domain name I've registered through another registrar. I've noticed .ai is not on Amazon's list of TLDs here: https://d32ze2gidvkk54.cloudfront.net/Amazon_Route_53_Domain_Registration_Pricing_20140731.pdf   
  
Can I still transfer my domain name to Route 53?

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately you will not be able to transfer your domain to Route 53 as .ai is not supported, But you can always manage (Migrate) your .ai domain name by creating a Hosted zone with Route 53.  
  
All you need to do is to update the Name servers at your current registrar with the Name servers provided in he newly created hosted zone, and you should be good to go.
