I understand you're having trouble launching EC2 instances even after upgrading from the free tier. Here are several common issues and solutions that might help:
Authorization and Permissions: If you're seeing an error about not being authorized to perform the operation, you may lack the required IAM permissions. Ensure your user account has the 'ec2:RunInstances' and 'iam:PassRole' permissions needed to launch instances.
Instance Limits: Each AWS account has limits on the number of instances you can launch per region. Even as a new user, you might have hit this limit. You can request an instance limit increase through the AWS Service Quotas console on a per-region basis.
Insufficient Capacity: Sometimes AWS doesn't have enough available On-Demand capacity in a specific Availability Zone. Try these approaches: wait a few minutes and retry, try launching in a different Availability Zone, reduce the number of instances you're requesting, or try a different instance type.
Configuration Issues: The instance configuration you've selected might not be supported in your chosen region or Availability Zone. Try selecting a different instance type or configuration.
Instance Terminating Immediately: If your instance launches but terminates right away, check if you've exceeded EBS volume limits, have corrupted snapshots, or lack permissions to access required encryption keys.
For your existing support case, you can add additional details or correspondence through the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. Providing specific error messages you're receiving would help identify the exact issue more quickly.

Hi,
Since you are new to AWS, you may want to try Amazon Lightsail https://console.aws.amazon.com/lightsail It is an easier way to get started with AWS and provides instances similar to EC2.
Thanks.
