Redis Cache - v7.0.7 logs not steaming into Cloudwatch

0

Hi World,

I have a Redis Cache (engine version 7.0.7) cluster , which was recently migrated from engine version 3.0

I have enabled Logs (Slow logs & Engine logs) configured as below. Log format: JSON Log destination type: CloudWatch Logs Log destination: /aws/vendedlogs/redis-cluster

The issue is logs are not streaming to cloudwatch, but I can see below entry in Cloudwatch stating permissions are set.

Permissions are set correctly to allow AWS CloudWatch Logs to write into your logs while creating a subscription.

Any more suggestions please !

Cheers - JK

Hello.

Have you configured the log output settings according to the document below?
Is it possible that the settings are not reflected?
For example, if you do not check "Apply Immediately" when changing settings, the settings will not be reflected immediately.

  • Hi, Thanks.

Yes, I follow the same article with "Apply Immediately" checked. Although logs are not streaming to Cloudwatch.

I found only one entry as below in Cloudwatch - log stream.

"Permissions are set correctly to allow AWS CloudWatch Logs to write into your logs while creating a subscription."
