Can't remove User-based subscription in License Manager settings

0

License Manager settings Hello,

I've configured and removed "Office Professional Plus" user-based subscription several times. Sometimes it failed because AD was in different VPC. Then this "Remote Desktop Services SAL" subscription left. I've tried to remove it before and after AD removal, but nothing happens.

Here is output of aws cli:

aws license-manager-user-subscriptions list-identity-providers IdentityProviderSummaries:

  • IdentityProvider: ActiveDirectoryIdentityProvider: DirectoryId: d-936759f6f1 Product: REMOTE_DESKTOP_SERVICES Settings: {} Status: DEREGISTERED
  • IdentityProvider: ActiveDirectoryIdentityProvider: DirectoryId: d-936759f6f1 Product: OFFICE_PROFESSIONAL_PLUS Settings: {} Status: DEREGISTERED
  • IdentityProvider: ActiveDirectoryIdentityProvider: DirectoryId: d-936759f6f1 Product: REMOTE_DESKTOP_SERVICES Settings: {} Status: REGISTERED ==========================================================================

aws license-manager-user-subscriptions deregister-identity-provider --product "REMOTE_DESKTOP_SERVICES" --identity-provider ""ActiveDirectoryIdentityProvider" = {"DirectoryId" = "d-936759f6f1"}"

An error occurred (ValidationException) when calling the DeregisterIdentityProvider operation: Invalid product REMOTE_DESKTOP_SERVICES

Hello There,

Greetings of the day and I hope you are well!

Thank you for contacting AWS. My name is Anupama and I’ll be assisting you on this case. I see you have a question in re:Post.

I understand that you are removing the User-based subscription in License Manager however it is throwing an error.

Please follow the documents which are mentioned below and then try to remove the subscription and if issue is still persist we would require more details that are non-public information.

So for that please open a support case with AWS using the following link https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/home#/case/create
