Unable to login

0

My service was suspended because of lapse in payment. I am trying to login to my account to make the change to my new payment card and I am unable to. The console requires an authentication code that is being sent to my suspended email. So I cannot login. There is no support phone number for AWS. How do I get support so that I can login, change my payment card and restore my services?

I understand your frustration with this situation. When an AWS account gets suspended, it can create what feels like a catch-22 situation where you need to access billing to resolve the issue, but can't access the account because it's suspended.

Even with a suspended account, you should still be able to open a support case under the "Account and billing" category. This type of support is available for suspended accounts.

Here are steps you can take:

  1. Check your email thoroughly, including spam folders, for any communications from AWS regarding your account status or outstanding payments.

  2. Try accessing the AWS sign-in page (signin.aws.amazon.com/signin) and use the "Forgot your password?" option if needed.

  3. Open a support case explaining your situation - that you're unable to access your account to update billing information due to the suspension and authentication issues.

  4. Provide any relevant payment confirmation details if you've attempted to make a payment.

  5. Ensure all your contact information associated with the AWS account is up-to-date.

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to immediately reactivate the account on your own. Account reactivation typically requires manual intervention from the AWS Support team and can take up to 24 hours or more after payment issues are resolved. You'll need to work with AWS Support to regain access to your account and guide you through settling any outstanding balance.
