vCloud Director & VMware on AWS Integration

0

If a private cloud provider has VMware infrastructure and they deploy a VMware on AWS SDDC, and link it back to their vCenter using Hybrid Linked Mode; can a tenant of the private cloud be given resources in the VMware Cloud on AWS SDDC, via vCloud Director allocations and see both private cloud and VMware Cloud on AWS resources on a “single pane of glass”?

Hi,

vCloud Director is not currently supported on VMware Cloud on AWS. However, VMware Cloud Director Service is their Managed Service offering that does integrate with VMware Cloud on AWS. Cloud Director Service will give multi-tenancy to your cloud resources, so you can more fully utilize the resources you are paying for. You can read more about it here: https://cloud.vmware.com/managed-services/cloud-director-service
