LoRaWAN end device clock synchronization "ForceDeviceResyncReq"

When setting up a multicast group, the ForceDeviceResyncReq MAC downlink command gets sent only once. If my end device doesn't get it, it becomes impossible to synchronize my end device to the right time for a multicast session. My question: how can trigger ForceDeviceResyncReq or any other MAC command from the AWS to the end devices?
