How can I view my bills and receive in INR currency?

0

I understand payment can be done is INR currency for my AWS account. But can we change the USD in Billing console to INR and receive bills in INR currency? Though PAN and TRN is registered with Business legal address as India I still see invoices generated in USD though I'm allowed to pay in INR.

I need the bill to be generated to me in INR not in USD!

If your AWS account is set up with an India address, you should be able to receive bills in Indian Rupees (INR). However, there are a few important points to consider:

  1. For new accounts: If you signed up for a new AWS account and chose India as your contact address, your account should automatically be managed by Amazon Web Services India Private Limited (AWS India). In this case, your invoice total should be listed in rupees instead of dollars.

  2. For existing accounts: If you have an existing account with an India address, it could be managed by either AWS or AWS India, depending on when the account was opened. You'll need to check which entity is your seller of record.

  3. Changing currency: To change the currency for your bills from USD to INR, you need to update your payment preferences in the AWS Billing and Cost Management console. Sign in to the console, go to your account name, and edit the Payment preferences. There, you should be able to select INR as your desired payment currency.

  4. Tax settings: Ensure that your Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) numbers are correctly set up in your account's tax settings. This is crucial for proper invoicing in INR.

  5. Contact AWS Support: If you've confirmed all the above steps and are still receiving bills in USD instead of INR, it's recommended to contact AWS Support. They can help you resolve any discrepancies and ensure your account is properly set up for INR billing.

Remember, once an account is created with AWS India, you cannot change the country in your contact information. If you're unable to make these changes yourself, AWS Support should be able to assist you in ensuring your bills are generated in INR as required for your India-based business.
