Hello.
I think the record cannot be created because the certificate status is already "Success".
So, why not check the CNAME record and add the record directly to Route53?
I think that the ACM certificate itself can be used if the verification status is successful in the first place.

I am trying to setup a static website with a .dev tld, with https enabled. I had previously created a certificate in ACM with a CNAME record in Route53, but I couldn't get it to work.
By the way, what exactly didn't work?

With the earlier attempt I don't remember exactly. I think I just didn't follow through because I was busy with other work.
