Hi

I am facing continuous issue with Amazon Connect Login URL, even after changing browser as well deleting cookies from the browser. Infact, currently I am forced to useEnter image description here emergency login to access. Any idea, how to resolve this issue.

Problems logging in?
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/connect/latest/adminguide/ccp-login.html

If you see the Session expired message while logging in, you probably just need to refresh the session token. Go to your identity provider and log in. Refresh the Amazon Connect page. If you still get this message, contact your IT team. If you have problems logging in to the CCP, contact your manager for help, or the IT Department for your organization.

  • Thank you so much for your reply. I did not get this last part Under "Instance Alias", choose the instance alias for which you want to create an administrator. Choose "User Management" in the navigation pane. Choose "Add new user". Up till instance alias I get it, but I don't see User Management in navigation pane. After clicking instance alias, I go to account overview page, where I see, emergency loin access URL and service link role. Are you referring to service link role. If so, can you please tell the steps to add as an administrator. It directs me to IAM user, please note I don't want to create Iam user for aws account. I just want to create administrator account for the amazon connect instance, so that I don't have to face Session expired issue.

Actually, I don't think it is refresh issue. As I am able to login page with my 1st Amazon connect Instance url link and 2nd amazon connect Instance , I cannot. Even though I have logout or close the browser. Is there any limitation with 2nd Instance under same AWS account.

I am assuming 2nd instance I created without initial administrator account. May be that could be the cause.

My question would be, can I create administrator after I have created Amazon connect Instance, If so how, and If no then how to resolve this issue.

Thank you .

  • Yes it could be the cause "I am assuming 2nd instance I created without initial administrator account" it was stated that the admin must give you the right so it should be created before .

Create an Administrator Account: If you haven't already done so during the initial setup of your Amazon Connect instance, you can create an administrator account using the AWS Management Console. Follow these steps:

Sign in to the AWS Management Console. Open the Amazon Connect console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/connect/. In the navigation pane, choose the instance for which you want to create an administrator account. Under "Instance Alias", choose the instance alias for which you want to create an administrator. Choose "User Management" in the navigation pane. Choose "Add new user". Follow the prompts to create a new user with administrative privileges.

I can't reply directly to what you said earlier so I'm reposting it here: "Up till instance alias I get it, but I don't see User Management in navigation pane. *User Management will be found in the Amazon Connect navigation pane -- not the AWS Management Console navigation pane, per your screenshots.

Suggested next steps:

  1. Login with Emergency Access to access Amazon Connect
  2. Now go to "User Management" in Amazon Connect
  3. Click "add new user" (or similar...I don't have the documentation in front of me...)
