Is there a feasible method to duplicate AWS CodeCommit repositories across regions?

0

I need to have my project repository hosted in the us-east-1 region using AWS CodeCommit. If I intend to deploy my production environment in the us-east-2 region, I want any code pushed to the us-east-1 region to be automatically replicated to us-east-2. Are there any feasible methods to achieve this?

Hello.

You can replicate between regions using the method AWS introduces in the blog below.

  • Alright, that sounds like a promising idea. However, I recently came across this article... https://medium.com/geekculture/replicate-aws-codecommit-repositories-between-regions-using-codebuild-and-codepipeline-39f6b8fcefd2 anyone to use it?

  • Setting up only CodeBuild and CodePipeline may be simpler than using ECS. When using ECS, settings such as VPC are also required. On the other hand, if you only use CodeBuild and CodePipeline, you don't need to set up a VPC. I think there are multiple ways to do this, so it's best to choose the one that fits your environment and skill set.

  • Thank you, everyone. I'm pleased to share that I've successfully met my requirements by utilizing AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and AWS Secrets Manager to manage my AWS resources.
