Amazon Omics - permissions issue

This issue is triggered by using Containers with custom users, instead of the default "root" container user.

I ran into the same issue recently, and escalated to the Omics engineering team. The response I received on July26th was- they've identified this permissions issue and will have a fix in-place by next week.
