DMS doesn't have LSN option for backup and restore

0

Hi Team,

I migrating the SQL server databases to the RDS SQL server using DMS ( Backups and restore + CDC) . last time I have the option to submit the LSN number in CDC start mode but this time I cannot see the LSN number for CDC but can offer the start stamp for backup.

Is AWS recently updated the DMS option, if we don't have an option for LSN, is it ok to give the time stamp for full backups?

I don't think there is an issue with the DMS console.

I have a replication instance version 3.5.1 and when creating a new "Replicate data changes only" task, I can choose Enable custom CDC start mode and Specify a log sequence number.

There is a "System change number" box you can input the LNS number retrieved from the log.
