Query on AWS Panorama Appliance for Surveillance Across Multiple Local Buildings

I'm considering setting up an AWS Panorama Appliance to monitor two separate building complexes that are about 15 kilometers apart. My goal is to operate surveillance with 8 cameras via RTSP in each location, and I am pondering whether I can centralize the operation through a single AWS Panorama Appliance using standard internet connections.

Here are my questions for the community:

Has anyone successfully configured the AWS Panorama Appliance with camera streams over a similar distance? If so, were there any notable network latency or reliability issues? What security measures would you recommend to ensure the integrity and safety of video streams transmitted over this distance? Are there AWS guidelines or community best practices I should be aware of when setting up such a system? I appreciate any insights or experiences you can share.
