For your ESP8266 device direct into IoT Core, I would suggest Pattern 4 is likely a good fit. Assuming you are operating in a region that supports Timestream. As discussed in Pattern 4, you can also use Amazon Managed Grafana instead of Amazon QuickSight.

I searched and saw online that some rule needs to be defined then we can get data directly to IoT Analytics from IoT Core. Can you tell more on this?

Hi Greg, can't work with Pattern 4 as Timestream is not supported in my region; what other you would suggest? My use case is to plot real-time Data like Speed, Voltage, and Current that are coming from a controller board to ESP8266 and then to the cloud. What alternate should I use?? also I want to plot all the above mentioned variable data in real-time.
Hi Sidd. Please refer back to the 7 patterns blog for alternate ideas. The best pattern for you perhaps depends on what AWS services you're already familiar with and what preferences you have for visualizations: Grafana, OpenSearch, QuickSight or custom. Maybe Pattern 6?
