Disable SMT / HyperThreading per core

Question

I try this

But it does not work, as I tried execute from a template.

I would like to disable SMT on AMD processor.

Can i ?

If i have one physical core, i want just one thread, not 2 threads.

Hi, you did not mention which type of EC2 instance your deploy.
So, please, check this table to check that you instance type of choice allows for the  number of threads per core that you want:
