S3 Static website not working Error: Expected params.WebsiteConfiguration.RoutingRules to be an Array

Question

I am following the aws document to create a static website 
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/WebsiteAccessPermissionsReqd.html
Getting the error while adding the policy  and clicking on save changes.

Hello.

Are you trying to set it in the redirect rule instead of the bucket policy?  
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/how-to-page-redirect.html?icmpid=docs_amazons3_console

Redirect rules are different from bucket policies, so check where to set them.  
Bucket policy needs to be set from the permissions tab as shown in the image below.
