re:Post - Unlink Builder ID to re-link with existing re:Post account

Hello AWS, I logged in with AWS Builder profile which took me to the signing page directly, which did not link to this existing account. Then tying to add a login link after signing into this account, it says the builder ID is already linked elsewhere. How can I reset and link the builder ID to this account? Thank you,

To link a login, you need to start from the "link login" flow when signed in with the original login. Can you give us more details on the steps you took that resulted in accidental profile creation?

As for resetting your builder ID and linking it to this profile, please ensure both profiles have the same verified email address. I can then take care of the reset and relinking for you.

Sorry for the late reply. On the login page I instead of login with AWS Management Console went to Log in with Builder ID which went ahead and created the account for re:Post although I did not even complete the registration process realizing that this would create a duplicate account.

How do I go about resetting my BuilderID for re:Post? Signin to the AWS Console for this current re:Post user, and logging to the AWS Console is done using AWS SSO.

Name, profile and nickname are also the same JohnPreston both for re:Post via AWS Management console login and Builder ID Profile. Email addresses are technically the same too.

Let me know if there is anything else you need to help with merging the two profiles into one for re:Post (it should use this one).

EDIT: I have deleted my Builder ID which I only had used for CodeWhisperer so I will try to create a new account in Builder once deletion is completed.
