We have a windows 22 server and atmost 10 users will RDP into the server concurrently.
- Which license should I purchase to enable multiple(10) users to RDP into the server - Is it user CAL or device CAL ?
- If i purchase the licenses, how exactly they should be configured on the windows 22 EC2 server ?
- During the installation of license on windows 22 server, is there any additional config to be done on AWS ?
- Also, can AWS Microsoft AD be helpful in my case and if yes, how ?
At this time, a comprehensive explanation is more needed for me to understand better. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you !

Are these different from the windows 22 server instance we deployed ?
The guide is a bit old but it should also work for server 2022. "Remote Desktop Licensing" is just a role service that you can install on the server to make it a licensing server. I found this guid that may be helpful. https://www.anyviewer.com/how-to/install-rds-license-server-2022-0427-gc.html
