Elastic Beanstalk: How do I change the application associated with my environment?

0

I've cloned an Elastic Beanstalk environment without realizing it also kept the application associated with the environment. I want to have a new application associated with the environment I just cloned. Is this possible? There does not seem any way to swap the application that is associated with the environment. If it is not possible, how do I safely terminate the cloned environment so I can start from scratch? I don't want to affect the resources (including the application) associated with the original environment.
