Why does the AWS Billing page have a CORS issue on it?

0

If I go to this page in a Safari browser: https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/billing/home

I get the following error: [Error] Blocked a frame with origin "https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com" from accessing a frame with origin "https://global.console.aws.amazon.com". Protocols, domains, and ports must match.

It sounds like I can fix this if I change a setting in Safari, or if I use a different browser. But I think this issue should be fixed on the AWS side. I believe that AWS should not perform this cross-site request; i.e. it should either change the billing page to use origin "https://global.console.aws.amazon.com", or it should have the API request use origin "https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com"

Thank you for addressing my question.

Hello.

I recommend that you give feedback on the UI etc. from "Feedback" at the bottom left of the management console screen.

Also, if the problem is resolved by changing the browser, there may be a problem with the browser or cache.
