Get error message "Unable to get your server endpoints" when try to add a gateway under AWS IoT>Wireless connectivity>Get started>Add gateway

You can get the "Could not connect to the endpoint URL" error if there's a typo or error in the specified Region or endpoint. Be sure to the region is supported.
