CDK Multi environment set up as per git branch

Is there anyone worked with Step function state machine to get step response as the output for the state machine response?

Please let me know if you have encountered this situation. I am only getting an execution arn from the state machine as response! I need the success or fail response from the step function added to that state machine as the response.

Can we achieve this in anyways?
