The AWS account root user is the user who signs in using their email address.
Please check that you can sign in by following the steps in the document below.

It seems that you are using MFA with CLI.
Did you properly configure CLI to use MFA ? See https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/authenticate-mfa-cli for all details

Hi Didier, Yes I have properly configured but used IAM user for doing for MFA delete. As suggested above, will check with root user and share my feedback.
