How to pass first message received on SMS directly to the Lex in the contact flow

Mostly on SMS peoples directly send questions, we have configured flow which handles Chat, SMS and Call.

For Chat and Call its fine as at both the places greetings message is played by the bot, the problem is with the SMS as users send query directly, the problem is as per the flow it first shows the greeting message and asks user to enter the message again.

But instead of playing introduction message if customer query I can directly pass to the lex service it would be an ideal approach for me, any suggestions on this how to acheive?

That doesn't work (yet) for the native SMS channel. I have a branch of an earlier project for SMS enablement where I have added a fix to make it work. (I haven't tested that repo for years though so I am not sure if it still works) https://github.com/amazon-connect/amazon-connect-message-streaming-examples/pull/9
