Wordpress Offload Media S3 Bucket

Hi, I've been looking for a tutorial on how to offload WordPress media to an S3 bucket. I have a few websites under hosting and some of my clients keep uploading a lot of images and it's reaching my storage limit. I found there are some WordPress plugins that do this, but I would like to do it without a plugin. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
