AWS MediaLive: TooManyRequestsException Error - How to Increase Push Input Limits?

0

Hello AWS Community,

I recently encountered an issue while experimenting with AWS Elemental MediaLive. I received the following error message: "TooManyRequestsException: You have created as many push inputs as your current service limit of 5." I was attempting to set up multiple live streams, but I seem to have hit a limit on the number of push inputs I can create.

I've looked through the AWS Elemental MediaLive documentation, specifically the limitations and rules section (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/medialive/latest/ug/eml-limitations-and-rules.html), but couldn't find information on how to increase these limits.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Is it possible to increase the limit on the number of push inputs in AWS MediaLive, and if so, how can I go about doing it?

I would greatly appreciate any insights, advice, or experiences you can share regarding this error and its resolution. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, You can request limit increases for MediaLive (and most services) via the Service Quotas tab on the AWS console. Make sure you are looking at the AWS region where you want the increase as the limits are specific for each one.
